B E Y O N C É ✨ Glam + My Latest Thoughts on 5 Women Who Redefine Beauty

FAN FAVORITES

Hey there lifeonamat fam, it was exciting to see some of your faces last month @nike! I’m looking forward to the next meet up as we enter our fall equinox. So many things have been happening in our news lately and so today I want to dedicate this post to all of the women who have been strong in the face of adversity, to those who have had to fight for justice / respect / policies / wins. I want to highlight and spread the word on 5 leading ladies you should know at the moment!

Naomi Osaka | a champ in her own right! She won the us open last week and she’s the first japanese / haitian to win the singles grand slam title. She’s on the rise and I’m excited to see how far she will go! Go #teamblasian :)

Serena Williams | shout out to serena for standing up to the ref for making a very controversial call on the court! She has had to endure so much backlash in her tennis career, but despite it all, has stood up to sexism in sports and redefined beauty in her own way. She is strong + sexy and has worked 10x harder for the respect she deserves.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez | at just 29, she won the new york primary against long-standing congressman joe crowley in one of the biggest upsets in political history! She’s managed to engage the young generation to get out and vote and she did it in an off-year election without any corporate money! A true win for women and millenials! #grassroots

Olivia Munn | the actress has recently blown the whistle against a sex offender who was going to appear in a scene with her in the new movie ‘predator’. She received a great deal of backlash and little support in her move. She was questioned by her peers and felt very along in her fight to get the scene deleted. I commend her for her bravery to stand up alongside so many other women in the #metoo movement.

Beyoncé | with 48 shows on her on the runn ii tour list, she’s managed to create a successful career with three children + husband! I just saw her show on tuesday and it was a once in a lifetime concert! At 36, she has managed to create a life of success and influence for women around the world. Having seen her perform for the very first time was a moment I will never forget! My makeup details from the show are below!
