Wet Leather Weather

FRIDAY NIGHT FUN

First can I say thank you so much for all of the positive feedback from last week's post. I find that story-sharing is key to running a genuine site and creating projects worth reading about. Thank you for giving me something to look forward to each week, lots of hard work goes into it. I'm a full-time one-woman show so I just keep putting out content that is unique and fun for me, ideas that give me a challenge.

Outfit deets are above. Summer, I'm ready for you!

You know, my style has changed a lot and it's also become more true to my taste. I felt really weird putting a wet leather look together for a mixer last friday but I was feeling very anti-season and mixed it up with some floral aesthetics. I worked it. Yes.

You could almost use the same fabrics for like a really good bar stool or maybe a lamp. Is that strange to make a comparison? Ha! Not at all. I think that furniture and fashion are very similar actually. Style is what I believe to be when you dress for your body and what looks good for a particular setting.

I like things that make me feel futuristic, like an anime character. I like masculine and feminine in one. Texture means more to me than trends. Subtle, timeless, and non-conforming.

I love to dress for the mood, not the opposite sex. I think the transformation is the most liberating part of getting ready.

ICE CREAM PAINT JOB

I gotta share this photo of a sick friggin bike I saw last week. I love the prince and tupac and michael custom paint job. I couldn't help myself! This year, I missed hin (hot import nights) because it feels very much the same show year after year. But I'd love to attend another car show this year. Drop me some info on upcoming shows if you're in the dallas area!
