CREATING SERENITY IN OUR HEART AND MINDS
Realize that you and the universe are one! You have the power to exercise control over your own space. Today, I share my positivity, light, and love with you. My goal is to give not only yoga, but inspiration and positive influence, to uplift during the hard times. I have to remind myself constantly that I am still human, I am allowed to feel what I feel. We have our ups and downs, but I believe that self-reflection is key to creating serenity and space for myself, even if it's for those five minutes in the day. It allows us to find connection with ourselves and the universe. There are so many ways to reflect:
Start by sitting in an empty room, or like me, on a mat outside and away from the noise.
Maybe when you are driving, think of 10 things you are thankful for.
Take yourself out to eat and just do nothing! No phone or anything :)
I believe that Yoga creates that space and serenity in three ways:
Opens our minds and gives us fluidity in our approach to problems.
Relaxes the body and soul, it's a physical and chemical transformation.
Helps us to find time to take care of ourselves and evolve.
Today my goal is to be less hard on myself, to accept where I am at in my practice, and to breath!
