THE BIG MISCONCEPTION ABOUT BEING MIXED IS THAT A LOT OF PEOPLE THINK THEY CAN CATEGORIZE YOU. IT'S SO HARD WHEN PEOPLE TELL YOU THAT YOU'RE OVERTHINKING IT, THAT YOU'RE PARANOID.I'VE FELT INVISIBLE SITTING IN A ROOM HEARING PEOPLE SPEAK RACIAL SLURS AND NOT KNOWING YOU'RE BLACK.
ABOUT 4 YEARS AGO, I STARTED TUNING INTO DJ GRUMBLE AND AFTER LISTENING TO SOME OF HIS BEATS ON THE CLOUD. I LOVED THE CALM, HAPPY, AND MATTER OF FACT STYLE HE PUT OUT. AFTER A WHILE, I REACHED OUT AND I BECAME HIS FIRST FOLLOWER ON THE GRAM (NEVER FORGET!). THEN WE RAN INTO EACH OTHER IN DALLAS LAST YEAR.
IT FEELS LIKE IT'S BEEN A MINUTE SINCE I'VE GONE TO A MUSIC FESTIVAL AND OCTOBER WAS THE PERFECT MONTH FOR ME TO ENJOY THIS TRIP! I BELIEVE THAT THERE ARE POINTS IN OUR LIVES WHEN WE FIND OURSELVES IN THE RIGHT PLACE, AT THE RIGHT TIME. AND I THINK THAT'S A SOUL CONNECTION...

Enjoy this chill set today, I'm a big fan of acid jazz. It's got a very nice sound, something you can listen to when you need an uplifting vibe. I've got some Jamiroquai, a little Thievery Corporation and Brand New Heavies just to name a few on the playlist.
Here's a chill playlist for the everyday highs and lows. It includes some of my favorite, most talented artists and some you may have just heard of in recent moments. This playlist will take you through an upbeat, relaxed, somewhat somber, then airy vibe.
So many crucial events are happening this year and around the world. Now more than ever, we must join together as one people and restore the idea of #onelove. As humans, we must protect our rights and this Earth that we all share.
Get to know me through the music that inspires my practice! I love all kinds of music, as I used to play the piano and flute growing up. As a child, I was exposed to a wide range of genres and studied music in school and in private lessons.
