What's On My Lips? 6 Valentine's Day Products You Can Use All Year!
VALENTINE'S DAY PREP
Do I have a bloody valentine this year? Haha! Yes. I actually do. So I'm planning for a one-hour prep right before the date. These are my favorite valentine's day products, especially because they're all pink! Perfect for a nice evening out. Follow this guide to get a good hydrated face, clean nails, and a good glow. STEP 1: FACE
I love a good face mask! Especially if you're up close and personal, you need to keep dryness far away. No flaky skin on your date! Thegarnier moisture bomb mask is great for hydration and helps prep the skin before your apply makeup.
STEP 2: LIPS
To keep my lips juicy, I like to scrub away dead skin and then pamper them just a bit more. I get my lips super smooth and plump with the knc beauty lip mask. You might get kissed! So try her product! You can find one on urban outfitters for $5! Below is a photo of me trying out the goods. I felt a little tingle from the ingredients, it reminded me of those lip venoms from several years ago lol!
STEP 3: NAILS
What if your date takes you to that cute asian fusion restuarant? What if you're eating with chopstick? Better keep those nails simple & short with a light hint of pink, nude, or tan. China glaze has a beautiful baby pink calledfresh prin-cess! Great for valentine's day shenanigans :)
STEP 4: HANDS
Maybe you will end up holding hands, maybe you won't. Be prepared and try the rose-scented hand cream by l'occitane! I picked this up at an airport and use for my nice occassions.
STEP 5: THE LID & CHEEKBONE
Yes, these products are just for highlighting! (don't worry, the beauty look is coming soon!) I use the kkw beauty ultra beam duo and put the high shine lip gloss just on the inner corner of the eye. Then set it with the ultra beam loose powder. It's going to bring attention to your eyes! So use just a little for your valentine's date. Don't forget to add the powder to your blush/bronzer for a healthy glow.
STEP 6: HAIR & FRAGRANCE
Don't forget to spritz on the scents! Keep it floral and romantic with the kkw crystal gardenia citrus perfume. I was so skeptical of this product, but I really love the light floral notes. I've already gotten lots of compliments on this one! It sort of reminds me of light blue by dolce & gabanna. I keep this in with my hair products so that I can add it to my waves before I go!
