Lookbook: Valentines Day X Spring 2017 💖
Hello loves, just wanted to share a Valentine's-inspired style post with you! Of course it's got some Spring vibes as the blossom season is right around the corner.
🀄 Muay Thai X Mortal Kombat 🐲
For this style post, I was inspired by my favorite video game when I was a kid and my hero, Bruce Lee. For as long as I can remember, martial arts has been in my world. Not many would know this, but I am a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and my brother is a second degree.
Beige & Coco X Casual Chic
I'm in love with the Romance Crop Top from Draya Michele's capsule collection, Beige & Coco. I think this line really expresses my true style, it's very versatile because you can dress it up or down.
Yogi Off Duty: Seasonal Dress Edit X GS Love
Hands down, this was my favorite dress for the winter season. A lot of my friends asked me where I got it so I thought I'd share with the class.
Styling a Yogi: Jacquard and Silk
This season I've been into the "silk trend" for sure. It's really adds good detail and sophistication to a rather average pair of denim jeans or trousers. One thing that I love about the look of this fabric is that it's so comfortable and you can wear it as an accessory because of the glow it gives. Jacquard on the hand is a print that I have grown fond of and I think it's definitely a winter trend.
Styling A Yogi: Favorite Fall Staples
This Fall, I'm seeing some really neat Jacquard prints, off the shoulder sweaters, cozy joggers, and leather statements. Layers are perfect for the cooler weather so that's what's inspiring me at the moment.
Styling A Yogi: Burgundy Boss
You never know when you'll need an emergency yoga class, so I wore my work out gear under a pant suit, Spiderman style!
Styling A Yogi: Crouching Tiger X Khaki Dragon
Ha, I bet you won't guess the creative shoot we did last month! Friend and graphic designer, Kenneth Le, helped me achieve this interesting look. Outfit was styled by yours truly...
Styling A Yogi: The Sophisticated Crop Top
Over the years, I've made a lot of style mistakes! Overly high waisted jeans, colors that wash me out, too tight of tops, and one too many lace up heels! LOL! The truth is, I really believe in a simple formula and rely on just a few staple items. I've become a little more brave in trying new lengths and styles for my body type...
Styling A Yogi: My Fall Yogawear
Because Fall is my favorite season, I love to push colors that are bold yet functional. It's still summer as I write this, but I truly love to live in my greys and olives, rock the burgundy, and kill the khaki! Those are just some of my go-to colors!
Styling A Yogi: Summer Edition
I love a hot summer in Texas…said no one ever! But actually, if you’re a student of the hot yoga practice, then you already know that the room is even hotter, 105 degrees that is. But what’s there to love about a hot room in the middle of the southern heat season?
Styling A Yogi: Jarlo Petite Cami Maxi
This was my favorite summer maxi! If you're on the short/petite side, a double slit maxi works like magic...
