πŸŽ„ Christmas Tree Pose: How To

Tree Pose (Tadasana) is one of my favorite poses. And it's just in time to put up those Christmas trees! πŸŽ„ This is actually my go to pose when I'm traveling and want to stop, drop, and yoga for a photo op! It's really helped me improve my center of gravity and balance too. Sometimes I find myself doing it subconsciously while waiting in a line or when I'm in the kitchen lol! I just might try it on a tight rope one day...just kidding!

On one standing leg, place the other foot at your hip joint. Let your knee come down gently. Keep your butt tight! Stand still, breath, and namaste! Here are some benefits:

  • Deep stretching for the hip, groin, and knees

  • Helps you work on your balance

  • Tones the leg muscles

This morning was the coziest of December days, got to put on my Under Armour Essential Leg Warmers and H&M Sweatpant Shorts. Yes lol, sweatpant shorts exist for places like Texas where it's only 60Β°! Hope you all are having happy holidays!
