Track Pant Trend X Adidas
Talk about the most ready-to-wear piece you could ever own! I love the Track Pant trend, you could literally wear these anywhere. It's the most versatile pant for someone on the go or for an ultra-feminine vibe or for just lounging around on the weekends. Plus I've never had to iron them and that makes me happy. It's a win-win!
HOW TO WEAR THE TRACK PANT TREND
Add a slim crop top, one that's simple and matches the second color block of your pants. So my rule of thumb is if you're wearing a two-tone piece, like the Adidas Originals Supergirl Track Pants, you could either wear a maroon or white top. But since white is the non-dominant color, it's better to wear a white top to offset the pants and make for a more interesting look.
Wear a good pair of sneakers or a cute pair of heels. With the shoes, I use the opposite rule of thumb (from the above bullet point). I wear shoes that match the more dominant color. To me, it makes the ensemble a little more stylish but won't wash you out. It tones it down just slightly.
Track pants are meant to be a little more high-waisted. If I go with a crop top, I really don't wear low-cut track pants. I just feel more comfortable and sporty in pants that fit properly with a cinched waist.
Dress it up with jewelry like tiny studs, watches, or midi rings. I would go for the more subtle pieces.
Athletic brands aren't the only go-to fro track pants. You can find them in prints, floral, and other textures. I really love color-block but play it up or down depending on the occasion. With track pants, it's all about that pop of color, then build the outfit from there.
Loose fit vs. fitted? I like the fitted look for nights out and to show the curves. But a loose fit is better if you're just keeping it casual. It's a very comfortable style for a night out where you're not trying too hard but you just want to be relaxed and still cute. For this outfit however, I'd definitely wear it on a night out!
